Does anybody own a Cisco DPC3939 (a.k.a. Xfinity XB3 Wireless Gateway 2)? I bought one off ebay. Internet works fine after calling to activate service with new modem. I wasn't able to successfully activate my phone service though. Of course I had to go through a few service reps to even get me as far as I have with the activation due to the varying knowledge levels. The most detailed response I could get from them why it wasn't working was that Cisco does not allow Xfinity to activate/provision telephone service for "home purchased" emta modems in this model.
